Event to Feature Guest Presenters from Leading Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Companies
Holmdel, NJ - May 23, 2007 – Sparta Systems, Inc., (Sparta), the maker of TrackWise®, and the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance process management software, and CSSC, Inc., a leading provider of regulatory compliance and validation solutions to the life sciences industry, announced today that they will be holding a complimentary seminar, "Integrated Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance Management Systems for the Life Sciences Industry" on Wednesday, June 6, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. at the Hotel@MIT, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
The event will focus on electronic quality and compliance management systems for managing critical processes including deviation management, CAPA, customer complaints, change control, audits, document management, training management, and others.
The seminar will feature presentations by representatives from Patheon, a leading pharmaceutical company, and Cytyc, a diagnostic and surgical products company. The speakers will present case studies detailing how Sparta's TrackWise software has been implemented as a cost-efficient, integrated system for effectively managing GxP and compliance-related processes.
Sparta will also provide presentations and demonstrations of its TrackWise software, and discuss strategies for implementing a closed-loop quality and compliance management system.
A CSSC validation expert will discuss the validation process and documentation requirements, and explain why the validation of electronic records systems can be the most challenging part of putting a system into production.
The seminar will also include interactive roundtable sessions where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, and offer their own insights on handling particular issues in their organization. The roundtable session will feature a review and discussion of the recently released FDA guidance document, "Computerized Systems Used in Clinical Investigations," including insights into current FDA thinking and implications for all pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device manufacturers.
Representatives from the following areas in a life science organization are encouraged to attend: Quality Assurance / Quality Control, Corporate Training, Validation, Auditing, IT, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance Officers, OSHA / Regulatory, Risk Management, and Laboratory Operations.
