Sparta Systems, Inc. Named To Software Magazine's
24th Annual Software 500

Software Magazine Ranks Sparta Systems, Inc. as one of the
World's Fastest Growing Software Companies

Holmdel, NJ - November 3, 2006 – Sparta Systems, Inc. (Sparta) today announced its inclusion on the Software 500, Software Magazine's list of the world's foremost software and services providers, published as an online catalog on www.Softwaremag.com. In addition, to being ranked number 305 overall, Sparta was ranked among the top ten companies with revenue growth between $10M and $30M.

Sparta Systems is the maker of TrackWise®, an enterprise, web-based tracking software application for electronically logging, managing, and trending incidents, actions and changes across the organization. TrackWise provides organization in any industry with a consolidated platform that has the inherent ability to manage any type of business process using a single platform. All of Sparta's revenue comes directly from sales of TrackWise licenses, maintenance, and related professional services.

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. "The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers and IT staff research create the short list of business partners," said John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. "It is a quick reference of vendor viability. That is content of value."

"Sparta's ranking in the Software 500, is further confirmation of our company's leadership in enterprise compliance and process management," said Ran Flam, President & CEO of Sparta Systems. "Our continued success is a direct result of TrackWise's ability to manage all compliance and non-compliance related issues and actions using a single platform. TrackWise reduces the number of systems required to manage issues, which saves IT resources, reduces costs and increases productivity."

Flam also stated its continued growth was fueled by sales both in both the U.S. and Europe and that much of its revenue was derived from existing customers, who continued to roll out the TrackWise product for additional business applications. Sparta also won a significant number of new customer accounts in 2005, many of whom have already gone live, and purchased additional licenses.

"The ability to rapidly implement TrackWise and gain a quick pay-back on the investment results in customers' rapid expansion for additional applications," stated Steve Cagle, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Sparta Systems, Inc. "TrackWise provides a high return on investment, so from a financial perspective it makes sense to expand the system for additional business processes."

The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2005. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at www.Softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
