Taconic Farms, Inc. Selects Sparta Systems' TrackWise QMS Platform To Manage Operational Deviations, Corrective and Preventive Actions, Complaints, and Training Management

Holmdel, NJ - October 31, 2006 – Sparta Systems, Inc., (Sparta) the maker of TrackWise® and the market leader in enterprise Quality Management System (QMS) software for the life sciences industries, today announced that Germantown, NY-based Taconic Farms (Taconic), a pioneer in providing high quality, precisely defined animal models and laboratory services to biomedical researchers throughout the world, has begun implementation of TrackWise to manage its Operational Deviations (ODRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), complaints, and Training Management procedures. Taconic intends to deploy TrackWise at all of the company's production sites, world wide.
