Mannatech Selects Sparta Systems' TrackWise QMS Software for Change Control

Holmdel, NJ - July 5, 2006 – Sparta Systems, Inc., (Sparta) the maker of TrackWise® and the market leader in enterprise Quality Management System (QMS) software for the life sciences industries, today announced that Mannatech Incorporated (Mannatech), a pioneer and world leader in the field of glyconutritionals, has selected the TrackWise QMS Software System to manage its Change Control procedures.

Mannatech will initially use TrackWise to electronically manage changes to procedures, which govern marketing, research and development, supplier and quality processes. TrackWise will replace Mannatech's legacy change control system, and will provide an integrated, scalable platform, enabling Mannatech to effectively streamline its data-driven change control procedures throughout its supply chain.

TrackWise provides Mannatech with a universal tool that will help streamline the change control process and harmonize all actions resulting from approved changes. The automated workflow tools in TrackWise will ensure that all related actions are communicated to the individuals involved and that these actions are tracked to completion. The higher level of visibility and accountability will lead to faster approval time for changes and lower costs.
