Sparta Systems Enters into Agent Agreement with Hitachi Engineering Co., Ltd. (a Hitachi subsidiary)

Agreement Gives Hitachi Official Rights to Resell and Support TrackWise QMS Software

Holmdel, NJ - February 3, 2006 – Sparta Systems, Inc., the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance management software for the life science and other highly regulated industries, announced today that it has signed a Reseller Agreement with Hitachi Engineering Co., Ltd. The agreement gives Hitachi Engineering Co., Ltd. the official rights to resell and support Sparta's TrackWise® QMS software.

Sparta Systems, through its subsidiary in Europe, has been providing its customers with outstanding support and further developing the TrackWise user community. "It became apparent that the need in the Far East demanded a concentrated effort to support and further develop the TrackWise user community, particularly in Japan," said Sahaf J. After completing mutual due diligence, Hitachi Engineering Company was selected as Sparta's TrackWise Reseller for Japan.
