Sparta Systems' Annual TrackWise User Conference Provides Forum for Quality Management Ideas Exchange

Holmdel, NJ - October 13, 2005 – Sparta Systems, Inc. held its Fourth Annual TrackWise User Conference from October 5 -7, 2005 at the Orlando Marriott Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The three-day conference was the largest to date, bringing together quality managers, power users and IT professionals in the life science industry who utilize TrackWise as their quality management system (QMS).

The first day of the conference consisted of plenary sessions where guest speakers presented their corporate strategies and insights for implementing forward-thinking and unique quality applications. The presentations encompassed current and innovative topics of interest. Some sessions focused on global TrackWise QMS deployment best practices while others addressed design and implementation strategies for specific quality applications. Speakers included Anil Monga, Director, Technical Operations, Information management Quality & Regulatory Management and Mark Sakitis, Associate Director, World Wide Quality Compliance, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Frank Clanzett, Medical Device Vigilance Manager, Draeger Medical (Germany), David McCampbell, VP of Worldwide Information Services, ImmucorGamma, Rosane Olyha, RPh, Global Standards, Procter & Gamble, Phil Lofty, Manager, World Wide Quality Assurance, Allergan, Jason Dow, Manager, QA Systems, ImClone Systems Incorporated, and Eric Kaldy, Business Development Manager, EMC Documentum.

The second and third days of the TrackWise User Conference were dedicated to providing technical and business application workshop sessions and holding interactive focus meetings. These sessions enabled attendees and the Sparta Systems team to discuss their processes, explore best practices, review upcoming TrackWise enhancements and provide further input into future product direction.

Sparta subject matter topics included best practices for TrackWise implementation and validation strategies, configuration and reporting, Audit Management, Complaint Handling, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Clinical Trials workflow management and product support and administration.
