Cambrex Deploys 40th Global TrackWise QMS

"Configuration" versus "Customization" cited as a key success factor

Cambrex Corporation is currently rolling out TrackWise across 9 sites, with over 33 different quality applications including Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA), Change Control, Deviation, Environmental Health and Safety, Supplier Audit and Complaint tracking.

Another benefit of a truly configurable software is that there is no need to re-configure the application when going through a software upgrade. As there is no custom code involved, the updated software is transparent to the then current system configuration. In addition, validation efforts are minimized, and with added functionality only incremental OQ/PQ are required; no further qualification of re-application of custom code is required, as there is none.
