Sparta Systems Establishes the TrackWise User Group
New Open Forum Information Exchange Facilitates Learning and Networking Among Corporate Quality and Compliance Executives
Holmdel, NJ - April 30, 2008 - Sparta Systems, Inc. (Sparta), the maker of TrackWise ®, and the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance management software, recently unveiled its TrackWise User Group (TUG) to help current and future customers maximize the bottom-line business benefits of Sparta’s renowned enterprise quality management software. TUG is also an interactive forum in which Sparta customers can work directly with each other—and Sparta Systems—to ensure future iterations of TrackWise continue to exceed customer expectations.
TUG has been met with great enthusiasm among Sparta’s customer base, with nearly 20 global brands signed up to serve on the Board of Directors and more than 210 registrants within the first two weeks of launch. The Group will have representation from executives at some of the most respected companies in the pharmaceutical manufacturing space, from Schering-Plough to Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Roche Molecular and Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc. These seasoned veterans are tasked with maintaining the highest-possible quality throughout their companies’ business processes, and TrackWise has proved an invaluable tool in achieving their goals.
The Board of Directors will serve as ambassadors and thought leaders for the group. Companies that serve on the Board will also work closely with Sparta’s Research and Development arm to ensure TrackWise continues to evolve to solve the many challenges facing the industry, from strict regulations and heavy industry consolidation to ensuring consistent practices and quality across global, multi-site operations.
The President of TUG is Carla D. Moore, the senior IT analyst for Solvay Pharmaceuticals. “As a global company that continues to expand business operations in new markets, I look forward to sharing the specific technical knowledge I’ve gleaned from years working directly with TrackWise, a solution that has both improved manufacturing quality and reduced our risk,” said Moore. “In addition, I am excited about learning from other TrackWise users around the world.”
In the future, TUG will expand to other market segments where Sparta is a key player, including consumer packaged goods, process and discreet manufacturing, government and more.
“The creation of the TrackWise User Group is both an excellent opportunity for our own customers to share best practices and network, and to ensure the bottom-line business benefits of TrackWise are communicated far and wide,” said Jim McGowan, President and CEO at Sparta Systems. “We look forward to increasing the dialogue with our customers to incorporate their valuable feedback into future releases of our software, and to ensure we remain in lockstep with ever-changing customer needs.”
