Supermarket Giant AlfaBeta Vassilopoulos Improves Supplier Quality Management with Sparta Systems’ TrackWise

Holmdel, NJ - January 22, 2008 – Sparta Systems, Inc. (Sparta), the maker of TrackWise,® and the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance management software, announced today that AlfaBeta, the second largest food retailer in Greece, deployed TrackWise as its Quality Management System of record to improve overall customer service and supplier quality while reducing the complexity of its manufacturing process.

With over 135 supermarkets under the AlfaBeta banner, the grocery chain’s principal activities are the production, distribution and sale of high-quality packaged and non-packaged foods. The company needed a Quality Management Solution to reduce manufacturing process complexity, ensure supplier quality, track customer complaints and facilitate the full lifecycle management of audits.
